Catering to the time constraints of executives & upper management, Telematics Weekly provides a (1) scannable list of relevant articles affecting the telematics & M2M industries, and (2) a weekly show featuring current news and interviews. Advertisers will have a presence in both mediums.
To maximize the potency of each advertiser’s presence, and avoid saturating the Telematics Weekly content, we limit active advertisers to 3 at a time. Advertising packages are detailed below.

Advertising Packages
Website Advertisements: To increase the visibility of your ad, it will take the form of a text-only short article. This will help overcome the phenomenon knows as banner blindness. There is a difficult ethical balance between increasing visibility of advertisements and avoiding confusion with non-paid content. Consequently, your ad will be distinguished from non-paid content by sans-serif typeface, a dotted border, and the word “Advertisement” at the bottom right-hand corner. We are comfortable that this approach gives proper respect to both our readers and advertisers expectations.
Show Advertisements: Advertisements in the Telematics Weekly Show are conversations that take place among the hosts at the time of recording. We do not use prerecorded spots, as we have found that listeners have been trained to ignore such advertisements. In the advertisement, we will discuss the benefits of your product or service to which we can speak with conviction, and provide a clear call to action for the listeners. We avoid “marketing speak” in favor of natural language to maintain credibility with the listener.
1st Position Package
Price: $7,500 for 6 weeks ($1,250/week average) — 10% discount for 52 week buy
Includes:
- Site Sponsorship Credit: “Paid Sponsor: Your Company Name” will appear in the website header just above “TELEMATICS WEEKLY” with a link to your corporate website.
- Website Advertisement: Telematics Weekly staff will help draft your ad which will appear on the front page at the top of the left-most column immediately below “This Week’s Show”. It will also appear in 1st position on every other page on the website (excepting the confirmation page for email subscribers — for technical reasons).
- Show Advertisement: The show hosts will discuss your product or service within the first 5 minutes of each week’s show for no less than 60 seconds. This spot will conclude with a mutually agreed upon call-to-action for the listeners.
